The development system of roads and bridges offer a great freedom of mobility in America. It is often said that it is America’s roadways that made it great as it is the backbone of the nation’s economy. The types of roads are highways that can be called interstates or routes. Interstates Highways are used for going from one city to another with out crossing small towns and they form a network that crosses the entire nation. America also has different roads that can be called freeways, turnpikes, expressways and parkways to service its cities. States have the freedom to charge for the use of their roads.
